Event Agenda

9am: Registration

9.25am: Introduction to the day

9.30am: Closer to Customers: Zooming in and Zooming out

To build better relationships with customers organisations must shift their focus away from transactional interactions, "zooming in" and "zooming out" to understand detail and context that will bring them closer to their customers. Stephen will discuss why this is so important, and share some tools that help to make it a reality

10.00am: More tenant data please!

There is a quest for providers to collect more tenant data to understand how to meet the diverse needs of their tenants. However, in reality collecting the data is challenging and tenants may find the benefits of sharing such personal information hard to see. Jude Nottingham will talk through our experience of collecting personal information and protected characteristics from tenants.

10.30am: Discussion Group ‘Your Research Programme and Consumer Standards’

Round table discussion about how your TSM and transactional surveys are supporting Consumer Standards.

11.15am: Networking Break

11.45am: TSM and Transactional Surveys

Key takeouts form TSM so far, looking at the data from RSH and their tenant analysis. TLF will also talk through how transactional data can support Consumer Standards to demonstrate that transparency, influence and accountability is being considered throughout the journey.

12.30pm: Lunch

1.30pm: The Science of Storytelling

Gone are the days when a pie chart and a table of data is enough to hold an audience’s attention. Our Creative Director shares his expertise in how to tell a story, weave in research insights, and create an emotional connection with your audience.

2.00pm: Resident of the Future – Clarion Housing Group

This report starts to bring together the Clarion Index data with external trends that will influence who residents of the future will be, as well as the world they are likely to inhabit. Various national trends are highlighted, including an aging population, unpredictable immigration, increasing ethnic diversity, more households, and increasing affordability challenges in the housing market.

2.20pm: Workshop – Resident of the Future – Clarion Housing Group

Using four conceptions of resident of the future; in groups we will discuss the differences between the resident concepts and understand more about how we can plan and consider future resident needs in our decision making.
